DOES DHL DELIVER ON SATURDAY?
Sometimes you need a parcel to reach your recipient immediately – maybe you forgot it’s your friend’s birthday tomorrow and you haven’t sent a gift or you need to get an important document over to your solicitor as soon as possible, and sometimes that’s in the Saturday post.
Whatever your reason for needing Saturday delivery, we have a range of UK and international services to deliver your parcel quickly. When you send a parcel to a UK address, we’ll deliver it on the next working day as standard and if that’s not quick enough, you can take advantage of our Saturday or morning delivery options.
NEED YOUR PARCEL TO ARRIVE QUICKLY?
With our UK delivery service, you’ll get next day delivery as standard so if you send a parcel on Monday, it will be delivered to your recipient on Tuesday between 8am and 6pm.
Does DHL deliver on a Saturday? Well if your parcel is collected on Friday, it will be delivered on Monday (the next working day). If this isn’t quick enough and you need Saturday delivery, then you can upgrade to our Saturday delivery service. Simply select the ‘Saturday delivery’ service at the time of booking.
If you need your parcel to arrive by a specific time, that’s not a problem either. We can offer guaranteed morning delivery slots. When placing the booking, you can specify if you would like your parcel to be delivered before 9am, 10.30am and 12pm for a small additional cost.

Please note, these options aren't available on parcels sent to Northern Ireland, The Highlands, British Isles and parts of Scotland which operate on a 1-3 day delivery service.
HOW TO USE OUR PRIORITY SERVICES?
You can upgrade to a Saturday delivery or guaranteed morning slot when placing your booking. Some important things to note are:
- You must select the Saturday delivery option.
- Your parcels will need to be collected or dropped off on Friday.
- For collection on Friday, you must book no later than Thursday before midnight.
- We do not offer parcel collections on a Saturday nor do we deliver or collect parcels on Sunday or Bank Holidays.
CONVENIENT DELIVERY OPTIONS
We are committed to delivering a convenient and flexible service which fits into the busy lifestyles of our senders and recipients. In addition to Saturday and morning deliveries, we have a range of value added services to make sending and receiving parcels easier:
- A choice of over 3,500 ServicePoints where parcels can be dropped off and collected.
- If they are not going to be home, the recipient can reschedule delivery to another day.
- Your recipient can choose for their parcel to be delivered to a neighbour, a safe place or a ServicePoint.
- Fully tracked service for both you and your recipient.
- A one hour delivery window so your recipient doesn't need to wait in.
- An optional 'You're next' email or text when the driver is one stop away.
SENDING INTERNATIONALLY?
Parcels making their way overseas will be delivered either via road or air, so understandably will take longer than a day, meaning next day or Saturday delivery is not available on international services.
We ship to over 160 countries around the world so delivery times will vary, depending on where your parcel is going. If you need your parcel to arrive quickly, we recommend using our Worldwide Air service which is designed for urgent and time sensitive parcels. With this service, your parcel could arrive in many popular destinations, including USA, in as little as 2-3 days.
When sending a parcel internationally, it can be delayed at customs. To prevent this from happening, ensure you only send safe items and you fill our all customs paperwork in full.
