Our postage prices can differ from package to package, so ensuring you have all the right information, including DHL box sizes, is important.

- The size and weight of your parcel affects the price you’ll pay so it’s important to weigh and measure your parcel to understand which delivery options are available to you, for example: a medium parcel price will differ from a small parcel price
- We offer various sized services from small parcel delivery to extra large or heavy parcel delivery across the UK and Ireland
- You can also book additional services at the time of booking your order, such as pre 9am delivery slots. Many of our additional services come as standard and are free, such as £50 contents cover included as standard
- Once our driver has collected your parcel and finished his collections for the day he will return to your local depot where your parcel will be sorted and transported over night to the relevant depot closest to the delivery location, where it will go out for delivery the next day

Collection from your home or business address - Waiting is the worst but, when you're sending a parcel there is an alternative to queuing in the line at the Post Office - we collect your parcel straight from your door. |

Fully tracked service - Your parcel is always in safe hands. Our 'parcel tracker' will keep your recipient updated every step of the way, including being able to see their position on our driver's route - they'll also be able to opt for a free 'You're Next' alert via email or SMS. |

One hour delivery and collection slots - If you're having your parcel collected from your home or work address, we'll provide you with a one hour window when our driver will be with you. Your recipient will also receive a one hour delivery window text or email if you select this option and add their information at the time of booking. |

What are the costs of UK postage?
The lowest postage costs in the UK from DHL eCommerce start from only £2.79 for small and medium parcels. Large parcels cost as little as £4.90 for postage, while extra large parcels start at £8.80.
Are postage charges by weight or size?
Postage costs are impacted by both size and weight. The parcel’s size and weight have an impact on the price you pay, so getting the dimensions and weight (in kg) right when getting a quote is important.
What size and weight is standard postage?
Standard postage can be offered for parcels weighing up to 10kg and with maximum dimensions of 60 x 60 x 60cm. If your parcel weighs any more than 10kg you will need to pay for large parcel delivery. For any dimensions larger than 60 x 60 x 60cm, you will need to pay for extra large parcel delivery.
How much does international postage cost?

Important information about sending parcels in the post
There are several items which are not permitted to be sent through the DHL network. These include: breakable goods, valuable goods, dangerous goods and restricted goods. Before sending any items in the post you will need to ensure that your parcel does not contain anything which could be classed as breakable, valuable, dangerous and/or restricted. Please note if your parcel contains anything that could fall into the above categories, any cover provided by us (either standard or extended contents cover) may be invalidated, and if your parcel causes damage to the parcels of other senders, we may recover the costs of repairing such damage from you.
