All of our UK deliveries are delivered on the next working day as standard, and if that’s not fast enough, we have a range of priority services to get your parcel there even quicker. We understand that some deliveries just can’t wait – whether it’s an important document you are sending to your solicitor or a last minute birthday present. That’s why we offer priority services to get your parcel to its destination even quicker.




Upgrade to a priority service

 

As standard, we deliver all parcels sent to a UK address on the next working day, with prices start from as little as £2.59. This means that if your parcel is collected on Monday, it will be delivered on Tuesday between 8am and 6pm.

If your parcel needs to reach your recipient urgently, you can upgrade to our priority services, with morning and Saturday delivery slots available for a small extra price. With morning delivery, we’ll guarantee to deliver your parcel before 9am, 10.30am or noon (depending on the option chosen when placing the booking).

This is an priority service so as you’d expect, it does cost slightly more than our standard next day service. However, if your parcel is urgent then it is well worth paying the extra amount to ensure it reaches your recipient on time.

How else can you speed up delivery?

 

You can speed up your delivery, by ensuring your parcel is packaged securely so that your parcel reaches the destination safely. Before sending, it’s also a good idea to check our list of prohibited items to make sure you aren’t sending something which can’t go through our network.

When sending a parcel abroad, always check that all of the paperwork has been completed in full and accurately in order to avoid delays at customs.




Are these available on International deliveries?

 

Unfortunately, we cannot offer morning delivery slots when sending a parcel abroad. However if you need your parcel to arrive quickly, we do have an express option for international parcels which means your parcel could reach the destination in as little as 2-3 days.

We recommend using our Worldwide Air Service, this is an express service designed specifically for urgent and time sensitive parcels. This service comes with proof of delivery and full tracking.

Should a customer need an item urgently, they’ll be able to get it the next morning for a small extra cost. By offering customers a flexible delivery service, you should increase customer loyalty and remain competitive against large retailers who offer these options as standard.




Convenient delivery options

 

We believe receiving a parcel should be easy, and that’s why we have a range of rescheduling options should the recipient not be at home at the time of the delivery.

Recipients can reschedule their delivery to another day. Alternatively, they can opt to have it delivered to a safe place or neighbour. Note, these option are only available if the parcel doesn’t need to be signed for.

If the parcel does need to be signed for, the recipient can request that it is delivered to their local DHL Parcel UK ServicePoint. We have 3,500 ServicePoints across the UK which are open from 8am until late so recipients can collect their parcel before or after work.
