Well, that all depends on what’s the most important aspect of parcel delivery to you, be it parcel delivery prices, speed, reliability and quality of service, customer reviews or possibly the number of available drop off points. We decided to compare even further to give you the best postage comparison…

Fastest delivery service

All postage comparisons made above were for next day delivery; as you can see not all were able to provide a comparable service across the same weight bands we offer. And some of the parcel delivery price differences are huge - as much as £50 for a 25kg parcel.

Drop off points available

There are over 3,500 drop at shop ServicePoints and 50 Depots across the country, there’s probably one right near you. We offer savings on all drop off services which makes this option appealing for the price-conscious. Our comparisons were based on a drop off service – many courier services also have plenty of drop off points, so this alone will probably not be the only reason to use any particular one.

Most generous parcel cover amount

A point to remember is one everyone hopes not to need, but is good to know is there; cover for your parcel. To compare courier prices for next day delivery accurately, we checked that the couriers were able to offer parcel cover – and they all do to some extent – but few offer the £25 level of cover that we include without charging extra. Beware though: some couriers only give £10 cover. We also give you £50 cover as standard on all international orders. 

Quality of service / customer reviews

Parcel tracking

This might seem like a given when you send a parcel these days, but not so. It might not be the most important part of courier services for some, but if you’ve bought something online like clothing, soft furnishings or other homewares and need to make returns – Evri isn’t the only service you can use to get value for money, tracked deliveries to return items back to the retailer. We give you access to our online parcel tracking system as part of our standard UK and Ireland parcel delivery service. We provide this for our International Deliveries too, at no extra cost.

We don’t have a contact phone number to reach us on, because we offer so many other ways to get in touch, but that doesn’t mean we take our customer service responsibilities lightly. In fact, our customer service teams always endeavour to get back to you within 3 hours when contacted during business hours. If your query is sent to us out of hours, we'll respond during opening times.
