HOW LONG DOES SENDING A PARCEL TO SPAIN TAKE?
When you send a package to Spain with DHL eCommerce UK’s International Economy service, your parcel will travel by courier to Spain and arrive within three to six days. For more rural locations, this may be a little longer. There are several national holidays that could impact delivery times for sending a parcel to Spain. Spanish customs when posting to Spain
Since 2021, a customs invoice is now needed when sending parcels to EU countries (including Spain). If this sounds like hard work, don’t worry.

It’s your responsibility to ensure your parcel’s contents are allowed into Spain – if you don’t, it may result in extra fees or charges, or even the parcel being returned. We advise you also take extra care to package the parcel carefully to protect it during transit and customs clearance.

As with all deliveries outside the UK, please ensure that your parcel contents are allowed into Spain. There are several restricted and prohibited goods when you send a parcel to Spain.

HOW TO ADDRESS A PARCEL TO SPAIN
Sending a parcel to Spain requires the correct address format to ensure there aren't any unexpected delays in the item reaching the recipient. The correct format is as follows:
- Recipient's full name, including prefix (Senor or Senora)
- The building number and street name
- The postcode, followed by the town and provide (for example, Alicante)
- The country name written in all-caps on the final line (SPAIN)
