Sending a parcel with DHL eCommerce UK’s International Economy service is simple. Just follow these easy steps:
1. Get your quote and book online:
You’ll just need to provide the destination, weight and dimensions of your parcel – getting this right is key, as it’s what we use to determine the cost.
2. Complete the paperwork:
Don’t worry, we’ve made this part super simple. You just need to complete necessary customs data and provide detailed descriptions of the items in your packages. We’ll use this to generate a commercial or pro-forma invoice for you.
3. Print your label or go label-less:
With our label-less option, you’ll get a barcode which you’ll need to show at the ServicePoint or depot when you drop off your parcel. There, we’ll scan it and generate a label to go on your parcel.
4. Parcel drop off or collection:
You can drop your parcel off at one of our hundreds of depots or ServicePoints across the UK. We also offer parcel collection, where one of our drivers will collect your package from your home or business address.
5. Sorting, processing and transit:
Parcels go to our UK Hub in Coventry for scanning and receiving into the International gateway. They undergo customs clearance before starting the journey to their final destination. We’re partnered with local postal services within the country of delivery – United States Postal Service (USPS), La Poste, Deutsche Post, etc.
6. Delivery:
Our local delivery partner will ensure your parcel is delivered to your recipient’s home or business address.
