Do I need to deal with Italian customs?
You will need to provide a customs invoice when you organise postage to Italy.
Don’t worry if any of this seems confusing; when you send your parcel to Italy with us, we'll gather all the information we need to generate a customs invoice on your behalf. This will print with your label.
It’s worth noting that depending on the items sent, duties and taxes may be payable by the recipient. These will need to be paid before the parcel can be delivered.

What items can't I post to Italy?
As with all shipments outside the UK, please ensure that your parcel contents are allowed into the destination country. Failure to do so could result in additional charges, the parcel being refused entry, and possibly destroyed.

How to package parcels to Italy

Italian Address Format
Also, to prevent any unncessary delays when you send your parcel to Italy, remeber to use the correct address format, which is as follows:
- Recipient's name - surname followed by first name.
- Recipient’s address – street name followed by door number.
- Postcode- followed by the town and a two-letter abbreviation of the town's province - i.e. RM for Rome
- ITALY written in all-caps on the final line.

How safe will my parcel be?
From the time of collection (should you not be in, you can opt to leave your parcel in a safe place and our driver will collect it from there) to delivery in Italy, where it will be signed for by the recipient, we take good care of the items you send with us.
We also offer free online tracking to keep you fully updated on your parcel’s location, and provide £50 extended cover on your item as standard – you can choose to add extra cover for more valuable items if you wish.
