Parcel delivery and courier service to Guinea

To all cities including Conakry, Nzérékoré and Kindia.

The UK Government looks to actively promote trading links with Guinea, in particular the exporting of bauxite as the country is estimated to have around 25% of the world’s supply. Imports into Guinea increased by more than 45% between 2013 and 2014 as trade links were developed and DHL eCommerce UK can help you and your business if you wish to send goods to the country.

Although food stocks account for large portions of Guinea’s exports, including bananas, cassava, maize, rice and pineapples, other natural products are also traded in abundance. Iron ore, diamonds, gold, timber and palm oil products account for a high percentage of these goods, attracting interest from both the UK and other global markets.

If you’re looking to send packages to the capital on the coast at Conakry or to other populous cities such Nzerekore, Kankan and Labe then you can opt for a secure courier service. It costs as little as £43.32* and takes 3-4 days* for your goods to be delivered.

About Guinea

The former French colony of Guinea gained independence in 1958 and should not be confused with nearby Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea. In some instances it may be referred to as Guinea-Conakry in order to distinguish it.

The West African country shares its borders with Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, Mali, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea-Bissau and is dependent on agriculture and mineral production. Alongside being the world’s second larger producer of bauxite, gold and diamond deposits provide sources for export.

Named after the Guinea region alongside the Gulf of Guinea, it is covered by forested tropical regions up to the Sahel in the north of the country. The climate, while predominantly hot and humid, sees heavy monsoon rains from June to November.
