WHY IS THERE NO SUNDAY DELIVERY FOR PARCELS?

Whilst almost all parcel delivery companies deliver on a Saturday not many offer Sunday delivery. For many with a tight work schedule, the weekend may be the only time you’ll be home to take delivery of a parcel. If you’re sending a parcel, we offer a Saturday delivery service which can be selected when making your booking. If you want to receive a parcel delivery at the weekend and use a weekend courier service, make sure you specify if you want a Saturday delivery when making your purchases if this option is available to you at checkout.

WEEKEND COURIER SERVICES

For many of our customers, Sunday is a great day to get some life admin done - whether you’ve sold an item on eBay or had a busy trading week. You can book all your UK or International deliveries online with us on a Sunday and we’ll collect your parcels between 8am and 6pm on Monday – and we send you a one-hour collection window so you don’t have to wait at home all day. So, whilst there is no posting on Sunday, you can still plan and prepare your parcels in advance to ensure quick delivery. If you are looking to offer a weekend parcel delivery service to your customers, we do offer a Saturday delivery service, as an optional extra but do not currently offer a Sunday delivery service.

HOW TO GUARANTEE A WEEKEND DELIVERY

To do this, your parcel needs to be collected by one of our drivers or dropped off at a ServicePoint or depot on the Friday before, and you must select ‘Saturday delivery’ when making your UK parcel delivery booking. This will ensure that the parcel uses our weekend courier service and is delivered on the Saturday. If you are shipping to Northern Ireland your parcel may take up to 48 hours to arrive so drop your parcels off by Thursday to ensure Saturday delivery.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO DELIVER A PARCEL AT THE WEEKEND?

You can send up to 25kg across the UK. The cheapest parcel you can send is a small parcel (up to 5kg) – we’ll collect and deliver the next working day where possible within the UK for as little as £2.79*. Save money when you drop your parcels off at any one of our 3,500 ServicePoints or 50+ Depots. To ensure it arrives on the Saturday, it costs a little extra - just select ‘Saturday delivery’ when making your booking. Unfortunately, we do not offer Sunday delivery.

DOES ROYAL MAIL DELIVER POST ON SUNDAY?

There is no official Royal Mail delivery on Sunday according to their website. As there is no post on Sunday, the chances of parcel delivery are low, but some packages could still be delivered.
