The run up to Christmas is always our busiest time of year as many of you send gifts to your loved ones as well as orders out to customers.
It is important to us that we continue to deliver high service levels throughout this time. As a business, we cope with the extra demand by employing more staff to work in our sortation hub and more drivers to deliver your parcels.
Our employees and drivers do have some time off to enjoy the festive season, so please review the below Christmas schedule and take note of holidays that could impact delivery times of your parcels.
SEND EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT
We aim to deliver all parcels on the next working day. However, if your recipient isn’t at home at the time of the delivery, this isn’t always possible. To avoid disappointment, we recommend ensuring your parcel is collected by Thursday 19th December. This will give your recipient enough time to re-arrange the delivery to a more convenient day or arrange to collect from a ServicePoint if they aren’t home at the time of the delivery.
Christmas & New Year 2025 Delivery Schedule
- Save money when you drop your parcels off at any one of our 3,500 ServicePoints or Depots - you can book and drop off on the same day to ensure you get next day UK delivery.
- Alternatively, you can book online and we’ll collect from your home or work address on the next working day or book up to 5 working days in advance. We’ll deliver your parcel the very next working day, after your collection.

Please note: When sending to or from Ireland, The Highlands, Islands, British Isles and parts of Scotland that we operate a 1-3 day service. Please remove 3 working days from our last posting dates above to ensure your parcel arrives in a timely manner. These dates are recommended but deliveries are not guaranteed. We recommend you send your parcel earlier to avoid disappointment.
Collection and delivery services
If you are sending more parcels than usual, you may want to review all our Collection and Delivery options available to customers. Our collection service is also suitable for items brought on eBay that are “collection only”. All you have to do is set the collection address as the sellers, and the delivery address as your own.
