The run up to Christmas is always our busiest time of year as many of you send gifts to your loved ones as well as orders out to customers.

With Covid-19 restrictions still in place throughout the UK, this year is set to be busier than ever. Many people will choose to do their Christmas shopping online instead of braving the high street, whilst others will be unable to see their loved ones so will send their gifts through the post instead.

As a business we cope with extra demand by employing more staff to work in our sortation hub and more drivers to deliver your parcels. It is important to us that we continue to deliver high service levels throughout this time to ensure we maintain our ‘Great’ Trust Pilot score.

Our employees and drivers do have some time off to enjoy the festive season, so please review the below Christmas schedule and take note of holidays that could impact delivery times of your parcels.


Our drivers are still making contact-free collections and deliveries. Upon arrival at your address, our driver will knock or ring the bell and then step away to a safe distance. Simply pop the parcel on the ground and step back so our driver can pick up.

If you do not feel comfortable answering the door, you can leave your parcel in a safe place for our driver to collect. Just leave us instructions on where to find it when placing your booking.

Christmas & New Year 2020 Delivery Schedule


  • Save money when you drop your parcels off at any one of our 3,500 ServicePoints or 50+ DHL Parcel UK Depots - you can book and drop off on the same day to ensure you get next day UK delivery. 
  • Alternatively, you can book online and we’ll collect from your home or work address on the next working day or book up to 5 working days in advance. We’ll deliver your parcel the very next working day, after your collection.

  • Your parcels will travel many miles over the festive period and may pass through automated sorting machines. Read our guide on how to protect your items during transit.
  • Not sure what pre-defined parcel size you have? You can send anywhere from an extra small (up to 2kg) parcel to an extra, extra large (up to 25kg) parcel. Take a look at our guide for the best way to weigh and measure your parcel.

Please note: When sending to or from Ireland, The Highlands, Islands, British Isles and parts of Scotland that we operate a 1-3 day service. Please remove 3 working days from our last posting dates above to ensure your parcel arrives in a timely manner.


Collection and delivery services


If you are sending more parcels than usual, you may want to review all our Collection and Delivery options available to customers. Our collection service is also suitable for items brought on eBay that are “collection only” – whether it’s a small parcel, large parcel (up to 80 x 80 x 80) or heavier parcel (up to 25kg). All you have to do is set the collection address as the sellers, and the delivery address as your own.
