Send a Cheap Parcel to the Philippines
We are proud of our budget-friendly prices for international postage. Take a look here for current costs.
How long will it take to deliver
We offer cheap and convenient door to door delivery from the UK to the Philippines. Simply book your delivery online and our drivers will collect your parcel on a day to suit you. Your parcel is then taken to its local depot, sorted and shipped overnight to one of our distribution centres before being sent on to its destination.
Whether you choose to have your parcels collected from your home or work address, you can expect delivery to your destination in the Philippines within 6-16 days from collection.
We make every effort to deliver within these guidelines; but please bear in mind it can take longer for your parcel to arrive to more remote locations.
Do I need to deal with customs?
For any parcel heading outside of the UK, you’ll need to fill out a customs form. This tells the Customs Agents in the destination country about the contents of your package so they can process it correctly.
As with most posting to international destinations, when you send a parcel to the Philippines from the UK, there are occasionally customs duties and import taxes that need to be paid. While you can’t pay these charges with us, when you book your delivery, we will provide you with all the correct forms you need to help your parcel through Philippines customs.
Personal effects:- Should you be thinking about sending personal items to someone in the Philippines, note that personal effects are not automatically exempted from duties and taxes; exemptions are subject to Customs approval. A notarised affidavit from the owner attesting that the contents are purely for personal use only must accompany the items and a copy of the sender’s passport photo page also needs to be included to avoid delays in clearance.
HM Revenue & Customs has more information on tax and customs considerations for the Philippines.
What items can't I send to the Philippines?
There are many rules and regulations around sending a parcel to the Philippines, some of which are different from those you might expect or are used to sending to other countries. We also advise you re-check the regulations each time you send a parcel as some countries change their regulations regularly – visit the Philippines Post website for more.
It’s down to you to make sure you’re not sending any prohibited or restricted items into the Philippines. Failure to do some may result in additional charges or even the destruction of your parcel. See the Bureau of Customs website. Some examples of items you can’t post the Philippines include:
RESTRICTED AND PROHIBITED GOODS
Food |
Illegal and dangerous |
Other |
Meat and poultry |
Dynamite, gunpowder, explosives |
Obscene or immoral materials |
Fruit and vegetables |
Firearms, ammunitions and weapons |
Lottery and gambling materials and devices |
*Please be aware that we also have our own prohibited items list, in addition to country-specific restrictions.
How to package parcels to the Philippines
We always recommend being vigilant when packaging your parcel – remember, your items will take quite a long journey and will pass through several depots with automated sorting machines on their way to the Philippines. Be sure to take extra effort to package your items well and use some internal cushioning material for your parcel. Take a look at our packaging advice here.
We can transport parcels up to 25kg in weight, 80x80x80cm max in size; we strongly recommend you use a sturdy outer box when sending your package and don’t overfill it, regardless of the dimensions of your parcel. If you’d like some further advice on packaging, take a look at our handy international packaging guide for tips to get everything there soundly.
