Send a Cheap Parcel to Japan
We work hard to keep our prices low and budget-friendly for courier services to Japan and believe we have some of the keenest around. Take a look here for our current costs. You can save additional moneyon the below prices, by dropping off your parcels at one of our 52 nationwide depots.
How long will it take to deliver
We provide cheap and convenient door to door delivery from the UK to Japan. Simply book your delivery online to arrange collection. Your parcel will then be taken to its local depot, sorted and shipped overnight to one of our distribution centres, then on to East Asia for delivery.
Whether you choose to have your parcels collected from your home or work, you can usually expect delivery to Japan within 5-10 days from collection. Please bear in mind that more remote, harder to reach locations may take longer.
Do I need to deal with Japanese customs?
For any parcel heading outside of the UK, you’ll need to fill out a customs form. This tells the Customs Agents in the destination country about the contents of your package so they can process it correctly. When you book your delivery with us, we will provide you with all the correct forms you need to help your parcel through customs.
As with most international posting, when you send a parcel to Japan from the UK there are sometimes additional customs duties and import taxes that need to be paid. These duties and taxes may be applied to your shipment upon import and are calculated and charged by the local authorities, therefore can’t be included in our prices.
HM Revenue & Customs has more information on tax and customs considerations for Japan.
What items can't I send to Japan?
As well as the usual prohibited and restricted items you would expect from any international parcel delivery, there are some additional restrictions on what you can and can’t send to Japan.
It’s vital to ensure that your parcel’s contents will be accepted into the country, as if it not this will result in additional charges to return the parcel to you, or your parcel being destroyed.

How to package parcels to Japan
As your parcel will be making quite a long journey to Japan, please ensure it’s packed as best as it can be. Your parcel’s journey will involve a lot of conveyors belts and possibly being stacked so we advise you pack your parcel securely. Also we suggest you make sure your parcel is packaged efficiently with bubble wrap to protect the item and fill any space inside the box with cushioning material such as newspaper or parcel chips.
We transport parcels up to 25kg in weight and 80x80x80cm max in size. We recommend you use a strong and sturdy outer box when sending your package and don’t overfill it, regardless of the dimensions of your parcel.
