Our home collection service is available Monday to Friday so when placing the booking, you can choose the day which suits you best. We’ll even provide a one-hour-collection-window so you don’t need to wait in for our driver all day. We collect small parcels (0-5kg) right up to extra-large parcels (25kg). If you are sending a large or heavy parcel, our parcel collection service is the perfect solution. We do the hard work so you don’t have to – our driver will collect parcels straight from your door so you don’t need to struggle taking it to the post office. For smaller parcels, you may prefer to use one of our drop-off services and save money in the process.

How does parcel collection work?

We will collect parcels from the address given when booking and deliver your parcel safely and in good time. Here’s how our collection and delivery service works:

 

Step 1: Book and pay for your parcel collection online.

Step 2: During the booking process, you will be asked to select a parcel collection date (this can be as soon as the next working day).

Step 3: On the morning of the collection of parcels, you will receive an email and text with a one-hour window so you know when to expect our driver.

Step 4: You can opt in to receive a ‘You’re next’ text when you are the next stop on the driver’s route.

Step 5: Our driver will collect the parcel from the address given when booking.

Step 6: If your parcel is bound for a UK address, it will be delivered on the next working day. Parcels heading abroad, could be delivered as quickly as two to three days after collection.

WHERE WILL WE COLLECT PARCELS FROM?

If you have a parcel for us to collect, we will pick up parcels from any home or business address in the UK – this can include a parcel pick up from your home, office or even your mum’s house. If you aren’t going to be home at the time of the collection, that’s not a problem – you can leave your parcel in a safe place for our driver to collect. Just make sure you let us know where our driver can find your parcel to collect when placing the booking.

Our next day UK collection and delivery prices (inc. VAT)

The cost of your parcel delivery depends largely on the weight and size of your parcel. It is, therefore, important you accurately weigh and measure your parcel before booking. If the parcel is bigger or heavier than the weight or dimensions given, then collection and delivery may be refused by our driver.

CONVENIENT PARCEL COLLECTION SERVICE

When placing the parcel collection and delivery booking, you can choose when you want your parcel to be conveniently picked up by our courier. Then on the day of collection, you will receive an email and text with a one-hour window so you don’t need to wait in all day for your parcel to be collected.

We will send most goods through our network, however there are some restricted and prohibited goods – meaning there are certainly some items you cannot send in the post. If you are on-the-go, you may prefer to drop off your parcel instead of having a home collection. We have 3,500 DHL eCommerce UK ServicePoints across the UK which are open from 8am until late so you can drop off at a time which is convenient for you. Prices for ServicePoint drop off start from £4.90. If you live near a depot, you can save even more money when you drop off your parcel as prices start from £2.79.

RECIPIENT PARCEL COLLECTION OPTIONS

We offer convenient parcel collection and delivery services for your recipients too. If your recipient isn’t going to be at home when the parcel is scheduled to be delivered, they can arrange for their parcel to be delivered to their local DHL eCommerce UK ServicePoint and collect parcels at a time to suit them.

You can even choose to send the item direct to a ServicePoint instead of a home address for your recipient to collect. This is the perfect option if your recipient is out at work during the week. With shops open until 8pm, they can collect parcels before or after a day at work or even on their lunch break.
